Course Description
Artificial Intelligence is fundamental to the future of genomic research. A.I. can make greater impacts than ever before and lead to life-saving discoveries that humans alone can not uncover. Explore what A.I can help you discover in the vast field of genomics.
In this 32-hour class, you will explore and understand how Artificial Intelligence works and its current role in genomics. You will learn use cases and scenarios to determine the best use of A.I. in certain contexts and learn how A.I. is used in Drug Discovery and Cancer Research.
Finally, complete a capstone project where you will utilize your newfound knowledge to analyze genomic data through Google Cloud to create and interpret predictions.
This is one of five courses in our Medical Technology Track that leads to a completion certificate.
